december 26th ... it's all good

What a joyous Christmas we celebrated this year. I woke up all excited for William because he couldn't wait to see what all was under the tree for him. I also kept thinking about what it must have been like for God to send His son to live for us, and then die for us. I can't imagine sacrificing my child for ANYONE. I know I think like a human, and not like God so there is that afterall, but it just blows my mind and makes me feel so unworthy when I think about all God did for us to get us to open our eyes and really see what He is all about.

It was such a huge blessing that Daddy was here with us on Christmas morning. I worked at church on Christmas Eve but I got to leave early and got home just in time to sing the 12 Days of Christmas with my boys before William went to bed :) Did I say sing? I meant scream. {giggle}

We are pretty good about cherishing the nights that Jon is home with us, but it was just FANTASTIC to have him home for Christmas. He did work Christmas night, but we had already had family time before he left so we didn't feel too gypped. We were also blessed with fun times with our good neighbors last night. I absolutely love sitting around the table and just chatting it up with those super cool ladies. It's almost like a sisterhood, no one is afraid or ashamed to share anything - it's a complete open forum. Love that.

Merry Christmas to all --- I'm going to go get my tail kicked in Wii Sports Resort now.
